The Scope Apprentice Challenge is a team building opportunity that combines fundraising and volunteering to really push people to their best for a great cause. Different businesses compete to generate stock and funds before taking over a Scope shop for the day. The winning business is the one that raises the most by close of business.
We were asked to produce a film in the style of BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’ (on a vastly scaled down budget) that saw the Pension Insurance Corporation take on BDO LLP.
What we did
This was a live competition running at the same time as the shoot. As we had no control over the events on the ground, we decided to treat the film as we would a live event. With two crews, we captured the events and the narratives as they unfolded before us, making sure that we had some cross overs that would allow the film to work as a whole. We would like to think that the final film would give the BBC a run for their money.
