Scope asked us to create a film that tells the story behind GASP!, a performance piece put together by young adults with cerebral palsy. We were to highlight how their taking part in this has affected both their confidence and independence.
What we did
Knowing that this project was to celebrate these young adults going into adulthood, we saw this as a ‘coming of age’ film. Our approach was to show the progression of these kids as they came together to put on a public performance. We captured the highs and lows of the kids’ journey and were able to work with the contributors to make a film that is full of genuine passion and emotion.
