We were asked to create a series of stings to highlight Waitrose’s sponsorship of the England cricket team to be screened cricket stadiums during The Ashes and also used across social media.
What we did
Working with marketing agency, Essentially Group, we came up with a visual twist on well-known cricket phrases to suggest that good food and cricket go hand in hand. We kept the animation clean and stylised to create stand-out in a busy environment so as to attract the attention of our audience of avid cricket fans. And our plan worked, the fans loved them as did our client, it was win win – quite literally for the England team.
