Waitrose wanted a 60 second film that informs and creates excitement around the new Waitrose click-and-collect food lockers.
Fundamentally the Waitrose lockers are easy to use and make life easier for their customers. They can buy groceries online and pick it up locally when it’s convenient for them. They don’t need to worry about what they order as the lockers are high-tech with fridge, freezer and ambient compartments.
What we did
We felt that the films should reflect the simplicity and ease of use, with an uncluttered and straightforward animation approach. Because the audience are busy people, we decided to address them directly to get their attention and a casual narrative tone to maintain engagement.
