The Client
The Brief
The Concept
The Strategy
West Hill School is a school for children with complex learning difficulties including ASD.
To use video production as a vehicle through which to celebrate the success of West Hill School's Science Department after they received a rating of 'outstanding', the highest rating awarded by Ofsted.
To herald the success of this achievement and to capture the essence of what an outstanding science department looks like.
To make a fast paced and fun film that shows the pupils enjoying science. We move between three very different science lessons, aimed at pupils at different levels, with different needs.
By inter-cutting the pupils having fun and the teachers talking about the ways through which they engage the pupils in learning, we were able to deliver key messages whilst at the same time not loosing the energy of the science department from the pupil's perspective.
