Environmental Film


 
Homegrown tells the story of a busy family and their efforts to be carbon neutral, including growing and maintaining a vegetable patch to feed a family of six. The film highlights the carbon footprint of our food and the ease of building self-sufficiency into an already busy lifestyle.

Sky Online Videos

The Client
Sky Green Shoots is Sky’s user-generated online video portal, set up to promote the environment.
 
The Brief
To produce four environmental videos to generate interest in the launch of Sky's user-generated online video competition, even before its launch.
 
The Concept
To create a series four virals, each highlighting the ways in which people can chose to reduce their carbon footprint.
 
The Strategy
Instead of simply informing viewers what they should or could be doing to help with the environment, we adopted to make each film about a person and their personal account of what they are doing. As such we attempted to get into their lives and see what other ordinary people were achieving with the aim to inspire viewers to do something themselves.
