MS Life
Fundraising Film
MS Life brings together people living with multiple sclerosis, their families and carers, to share experiences and learn new methods of coping. The film captures a ‘wheel and walk’ event, a fashion show featuring models with MS and an accessible club night, whilst delivering positive messages from people living with MS.

The Concept
The Strategy
The MS Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).
To work with existing footage shot by the MS Society to edit a fundraising film aimed at potential sponsors.
To create and shape a film from existing footage to promote the MS Society’s biggest annual event MS Life, and to demonstrate how the event, held for and by people affected by MS, is beneficial to those involved.
People engage with people. It was for this reason that the edit was structured around personal stories and experiences.
We focused on the footage that captured the human side to the event, its positive aspects; people joining in with events, workshops and seminars and benefiting from their experiences, people learning of new ways to make managing MS easier and people overcoming their own fears and limitations and sharing experiences within the MS community.
From existing footage we were able to take the viewer on a journey through MS Life, using carefully scripted voiceover and existing vox pops to lead the narrative.
